Within Mafia City, you are the leader of a group of gangs. Under your rule, the gang will expand in power, you will eventually become the revered Boss!
Methods that can effectively expand your gang are as follows: continuously upgrade building, train crews, invest in properties, rob resources, join clan and challenge street forces.

Basic Troubleshooting

1 How to change in-game name？

Click on the avatar icon on the main interface→edit(Pen & Paper) icon→type the new name→then click on confirm.
Note: Changing name will consume 200 Gold.



2 How to change image?
Click on the【Items】button in the game interface and purchase a Change Appearance item under the【Store】option.
Item will automatically go to 【My Items】 after purchase. Then click on the use button of the item and select OK, all designed image will be displayed. Then click on confirm after selecting the image you like, and the image will be changed.

You can also do the followings: click avatar> click the blue cycle symbol at the bottom right corner of the image, then you can change your appearance. You can click upload avatar to upload images from Albums or Take photos . Uploading your own photo is FREE.



3 How to change city?

Leaders with mansion lower than lv. 6 and registered less than 3 days are able to change your city. And your cargo and cash cannot be over 500k respectively. Please do have a check, and if you aren't, you can click the Newbie Teleport prop, click Use, then enter the city you want to teleport, find yourself some place to locate.
4 Why should I build up my Turf (Upgrade Buildings)?

Mansion is a base for you to build your forces. Building up your Mansion is the most fundamental way to increase your power.All features available to the Mansion (including the upgrade option) can be seen by clicking on the Mansion.

Within the upgrade option are the building’s requirement as well as the resources requirements. Meet those requirements and you’ll be able to upgrade the building.
To build a new building, just click on an empty plot. You can arrange the location and number of building in accordance to your own preference.
Greenish plots are undeveloped plots, by spending some resources you’ll be able to unlock new plots for more buildings.

As the building’s level increases, so will the efficiency of its function.
For example, upgrading a Hospital can increase the capacity for wounded, while upgrading Clubs will increase the amount of crews to be trained and the training speed.
One of the Ranking list in the Ranking system is Mansion Level. Upgrading buildings can also increase Power. My dear leaders hurry and start upgrading your building and increase your power.


5 Why should I Invest in property?
Investing in properties can directly improve the stats, and it is also one of the most important method for increasing your Power.

By building an “Investment Center”, selecting the Property and clicking on the “Invest” button, you’ll be able to start investing.


Properties are divided into 13 categories: "Resources", "Criminal Enterprises", "Turf Defense", "Crew Capability" and many more.

"Resources" property can increase production speed as well as Robbing speed of resources.
To upgrade Mansion, building and train crews, a massive amount of resource are needed.
As such investing on “Resource” property is the most basic of the need to do list.

"Turf Defense" property improves the Mansion’s (as well as crew’s) ability to defend and etc.
Within this property, there is the “First Aid”, which is capable of turning 10% of the loss crews to wounded, thus greatly reducing losses.

"Criminal Enterprises" property can improve crew’s load, building speed, crime ops marching speed, Hospital capacity and etc.
More importantly, the “Hospital Expansion” can greatly increase the max amount of wounded.

"Crew Capability" can improve the crew’s stats and greatly increase your combat ability. For example, the “Crime Ops Crew” can increase the amount of crime ops you can send out. While “Leadership” can increase the amount of crew a single crime ops team can have.

6 Why Should I become a VIP player?
VIP players can experience a variety of benefits (like: Instant Building Time, All resource output, Marching Speed, Max Marching Crew, increase damage, Increase defense, Increase HP and etc), thus helping VIP player to develop faster and gain greater advantage during battle.
As the VIP level increases the benefits gained becomes more and more obvious. With this we can presume that all VIP are outstanding!
Click on the 【VIP】 button next to the Image and enter the VIP interface. There you can freely scroll the lower part and view the unique benefits for each level of VIP.


7 How do I get VIP Points?
By clicking on the 【Acquire Point】 button on the VIP page, one can enter the purchase page to purchase or use the corresponding point item to raise the VIP level. This is a relatively fast method to level up.
Furthermore, one can also acquire VIP points by completing Jobs and participating in events, etc.

8 How to increase power?

The surest ways to increase power are as follows: train crews, upgrade buildings. When upgrading, the battle difference between the current and original level, will be added to your power.
If you upgrade your level 5 (Power 534) to level 6 (Power 961), you’ll be able to gain 961-534=427 increase in Power.

9 How to get free gold?

1. Completing certain Recommended Jobs will also be rewarded with gold;
2. First time joining a clan, will also be rewarded with 200 gold;
3. Gold will be rewarded when robbing gold in the city;
4. Continuous sign in at the Fountain, might also be rewarded with gold;
5. There is also chance of getting gold from the accumulation line in daily reward and the yacht
6. When leader levels up, a certain amount of gold can be gained;
7. First time defeating each level of Street Force will be rewarded with gold; re-defeating the same level has chance of getting gold reward;
8. Turn the Lucky Wheel and you might get the Gold Reward;
9. Click “Rewards Center” is able to enter into “7 Day Domination”. You can develop rapidly with these jobs. A great Gift Box with 1000 gold will be given when your accumulative points reaches the target;
10. There is a more detailed task and goals named "Daily Contact", complete them to get points. As you accumulate the points to the amount indicated by the goal, you”ll be able to get loads of rewards. Each day, the amount of points will be refreshed at 8 o’clock (City Time);
11. There is an “Achievement Collection” right next to the Mansion, reach the target of each Achievement and you’ll be able to collect an enormous amount of rewards;
12. Extra gold can be gained from purchasing Gold Packs during certain recharge event!



10 How to gain Leader Skill Points?
Skill Points can be gained by leveling the leader’s level. During level 1-9, players can gain 3 skill points per level up; and 4 per level for level 10-19; and 5 points for level 20 and above. Leader can be leveled up by either challenging street force for exp or from exp items, and completing jobs. The given skill points can be used to unlock Talent. Talents are divided into 3 categories: Crimes Talent, Enterprises Talent and Organizing Talent.


11 How to attack other players?
You can click on their Turf, click attack, then you can send out troops and attack.


How to protect myself?

Items like Truce can be used to completely prevent others from attacking your Turf (but crews outside of the Mansion are not protected).

If your robbing crew is under attack, you can always re-call them.
If your Turf is under attack, you can move your crews elsewhere to avoid a direct confrontation.
Another awesome way to lower casualties in war time is to send your crew to explore the Prison.
Using random teleport or advanced teleport is another useful means to avoid trouble.
Join a clan and use clan teleport to teleport your Turf to the same area as your clan mate. By doing so you can effectively protect yourself from attacks.
Build Hospital to avoid confronting a powerful crew and reduce possible crew lost.

12 My Turf’s on fire. What should I do?
Once the enemy breaks through your Turf, in other words, you fail to defend, your Turf will result in being consumed in flames, during which state the Wall’s Durability will gradually reduce. Once the Durability value reaches zero, the Turf will demolish itself and randomly relocate to another location within the city. (After the relocation, the durability value will be immediately restored to max.)
You can "Extinguish" the fire by spending Gold to remove the burning state or Increase Durability to avoid any loss.

The burnning state only lasts for half an hour, when time is up the flame will automatically extinguish itself. But if you have been attacked several times, the burning state will add up on the basis of the times.



13 Why must we join a clan? (The importance of Clan and necessity of Social Applications)
Mafia has never been about a man fight for his own, only with the collective strength provided by brothers will one be able to survive and hold your own within the city.
Click on the “Clan” option at the lower right corner of the main interface to enter clan interface, if you are not part of a clan you can either choose to create your own clan or join a clan.
Oh! One more thing, for those that are joining a clan for the first time, there is a gold reward which you will receive upon joining.
All kinds of clan related management information can be seen on the clan interface.

For example, on the “Clan Battle” interface page players can offer help to clan members that are being targeted for attack or joining a raid against an enemy.
Within the “Management” option a clan’s social messaging app can be set, by joining the clan’s chat group on FB/LINE/Whatsapp/Wechat better communication and clan unity can be achieved.
The “Clan Property & Donation” interface is where resources can be donated to improve clan property and buffs available.


Within the “Clan Store”, a clan’s R4 and R5 members can use the Clan Points (which belongs to the clan) to purchase item(s) from “Item list” and add it to the “Store”.
Where clan members can use their Clan Honor to purchase items like advance teleport, speedup items, etc. and add it into their won “Items”.
Don’t forget to ask your clan’s R4 to restock item when there is not enough in the Clan Store.

By donating and participating in clan event, members will be able to gain both clan Point and Clan Honor.
As you can see, the more you donate and more active you participate in clan event, the more Clan Honor and Points you will have!

14 How to Raid?
Basically Raid means to battle with enemy at the same time clan members can join along.

Click on the enemy’s Turf and select the “Raid” option and you will be able to raid over a period of time.
Clan members can join the raid by either clicking on the raid notice in clan chat or through the Clan Battle option within the Clan interface!

When initiating the Raid feature, the one who is Raiding needs to choose the time for meeting up. Assembled forces will then march towards the enemy.
The requirement to use the Raid feature is to have the building “Clan Hall”, this building can also affect the amount of forces one can gather.

Raid forces can only be disbanded by the one who forming the raid forces,after it is disbanded, you will receive a mail with the reason.

15 How to reinforce others?
After building a Clan Club, one can ask for reinforcement from clan member.
Clan members can then start asking for clan reinforcement.
The Clan Club’s level determines the amount of reinforcement you can get from members in a clan.


16 Resource's classification and Robbing skills
Provision moves before troops can be mobilized, the same can be said with Mafias.
Therefore, familiarity and acquisition of various resources is the most crucial knowledge of development in Mafia.
At the very top of the main interface page displays each resources amount such as Cargo, Cash, Arms, Metal and Gold.

The various resource building that produces resources, are located in the area just outside the Mansion’s Wall.
Cargo Hub is a building that produces and stores cargo.
Counterfeiter is a building that produces and stores cash.
Ammu-Nation is a building that produces and stores Arms.
Smelter is a building that produces and stores metal.


Upgrading these buildings can increase their productions, each building can only store up to 10 hours of production.
Revered boss, don’t forget to collect them every once in a while.

Resources are divided into 3 kinds: Safe Resource, Vault Protect Resource and Non-safe Resource Only purchased resources can be considered safe resources.
Safe resources cannot be detected or robbed.

The Vault building is capable of protecting a certain amount of resources; this portion of the resource can still be detected but cannot be robbed.

Crews will consume Non-safe cash as Upkeep; the consumption amount can be seen at the crew’s detail page.


Many of these buildings are also located all over the city map. By clicking on the Occupy icon you will be to rob those resources.


Other than the properties in the Invest Center and leader’s skill that can be activate, you can also use the Increase Robbing speed item to increase the speed of robbing.
The resources on the map are distributed in accordance to the map’s layering, the closer to the city’s center the higher the resources level is.


Bosses that desire to develop their clans faster can first have their clan leader teleport to an ideal location and later have the other clan members use the clan teleport item to teleport next to their clan leader.
Clan within the area of high leveled resource will be able to grow stronger!

At the Black Market resources can be directly traded, each day a certain amount of free trades will be available (usage of wine can increase the number of free trades).
Once the free trade counts has been used up, gold will be required in order to trade for more resources.


At the smuggler, players can exchange gold for resources or use another kind of resource to exchange for resources.


As you accumulate resources, you must not forget to protect your mansion from other leader’s attack.


17 What is the basic knowledge of battle?
You can use acceleration items by clicking on the “Speed Up” option to shorten your crime ops’ marching time, thus making it harder for the enemy to respond to your attack.


But battles are never so easy. You need to use the “Spy” option to first obtain information on the enemy’s defense crews and defense weapon as well as the reinforcements that is hidden.
By using the “Anti-Spy” item you will be able to prevent the information from leaking out.


Only when you are sure your team is stronger than the defending team, then can you attack. And by winning the battle will you be able to rob the enemy’s resource.
You need to be careful when attacking another leader’s Mansion, whose power is similar to yours.

A crime ops crew has a limit while the defending team consists of all the crews available in the Mansion.
During an attack all the crews defeated from the attacking team will direct result in death while the crews in defense team will result as wounded until the Hospital Center is full
(All exceeding crew will thus result as dead). But crews from both sides will result as wounded if the battle took place in a resource site on the Map.
As such the “Raid” option can be considered when attack a powerful enemy.

Temporary buffs include Attack Buff, Defense Buff, Crime Ops Boost and many more. Buff is a powerful tool, so don’t forget to use them in battle!


The Active Skills in battle can be found as follows: “Beck and Call” --- Immediately recall all crews, “Ringleader” --- Temporarily increases the max limit of crime ops.
“Rescue” --- Turns all loss crews in the first battle after using the skill to wounded. Rescue is a rare type of battle skill that requires the Leader to be at least level 38 in order to activate.


18 What’s the best troop for battle?
Every crime ops crew needs to include tank type Bulker as the team’s vanguard, to absorb damages. Bulker level 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 and 10 are all considered as Tank type bulker.
It would be even better if the amount of Tank type bulker can amount to about 30% of the crime ops’ max limit.


Bikers have chance to attack enemy’s range crew, along with talent they can deal great amount of damage to range crews. Shooters are the damage output crew of the rear, when stationed at the Turf, with their talents sometimes provide defense bonus. Modified Vehicle’s talent provide attack bonus when attacking at the Turf.


19 Account Issues

How do I find my game ID?

You can do the followings: click your Avatar - Settings - Account, then you can find your game ID.


How do I switch between accounts?

Your game account and progress can easily be transferred as long as it is linked to a Google or FB account! (IOS users can also bind account with apple account) Remember that each ID can only be linked to one Google or FB account.

You can click your image, click settings, click account, then click switch account to switch.

20 Can we sell, buy and share account?

Selling, buying, sharing and gifting of Mafia City accounts are all a violation to our regulation.
Under these circumstances, we will no longer be able to guarantee the safety of the related accounts. Towards the accounts that have been transferred without the consent of Mafia City Studio, we retain the right to ban and no longer provide anymore services.


21 Purchase Issues
I just bought packs, but they never came through. What can I do?

While most of the transactions go smoothly, sometimes our servers might be slower than usual or might result in errors.

We appreciate your patience when this happens and ask that you please wait some time for your transaction to go through. If they do not appear, quit and restart Mafia City. Your packs should now be credited to you.

If all else fails, please contact our customer support and provide your payment receipt with order number and tell us what pack you bought exactly, we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Please note that if you bought the monthly or weekly pack you need to collect your rewards from the fountain daily.


Basic Troubleshooting

Start with these steps when you are ready to troubleshoot the cause of the crash you’ve experienced.

1. Make sure that your copy of Mafia City was downloaded from the Google Play Store or Apple Store, as we are unable to determine the stability of games downloaded elsewhere.
2. It is crucial that your device has enough memory to run the game. You can clear up space by minimizing the number of applications running. To close applications, go to ‘Settings’ >‘Apps,’ and select the applications that you want to close.
3. Having insufficient storage space will also affect the quality of gameplay. Free up storage space on your device by deleting the applications you’re no longer using.
4. It is also important that you have downloaded the latest version of Mafia City for a better game play experience.
